HUNTINGTON, NY — A Steven Spielberg production is being filmed in the Town of Huntington, a source told Patch.
Supervisor Ed Smyth mentioned, at the end of his State of the Town Huntington Address on Feb. 25, that “this guy, Steven Spielberg,” would be filming in the township. The comment came as Smyth lauded the accomplishments of the Town of Huntington Office of Film and Television, launched in May 2023, in the address.
The movie stars Emily Blunt, the Long Island Press reported. A title has not yet been confirmed.
The film, about UFOs, will also feature Wyatt Russell and is scheduled to be released on June 12, 2026, Screen Rant reported. Josh O’Connor is also a cast member of the new film, Variety reported.
Patch’s request for comment to Amblin Partners, a film and television production company led by Spielberg, was not immediately returned.
