Heidi Klum had a whimsical method for shaking off pre-show jitters before the 2025 Oscars.
On Sunday, March 2, the supermodel took to Instagram to share her “Oscar warm-up” with her 12.4 million followers–and give fans a first glimpse at her Oscar dress–shortly before making an appearance on the Academy Awards red carpet. While jumping on a trampoline, Klum debuted a plunging, asymmetrical twist on the classic LBD.
“Happy Oscars,” the Project Runway star captioned her Sunday video, which showed her in full glam energetically bouncing on a large trampoline outside. Klum’s Oscar dress—a dramatic long black sleeveless Marmar Halim creation—was at odds with her playful pre-show activity. With a gathered black fabric in a ruched design, the gown’s structured corset bodice featured a slanted plunging, belly button-grazing neckline. Meanwhile, her skirt also brought the drama, thanks to a flowing silhouette and a bold upper thigh-high slit on the left side.
Klum, who could be heard joking about her “Oscar warm-up” to the person filming the video, gave a closer look at her sultry glam in a second video. Walking barefoot in her back yard with the trampoline in the backdrop, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit alum wore her long blonde hair in a middle-parted style with natural waves. A smokey eyeshadow paired with dramatic cat eyes, a light pink lip, and sculpted cheeks finished off Klum’s Oscars beauty look. The barefoot model kept her footwear a surprise ahead of her red carpet appearance, but she kept her accessories simple with Lorraine Schwartz diamond rings and a neutral manicure.
Her latest look was a style and beauty 180 from the day before. Klum made an appearance at the Chanel and Charles Finch Pre-Oscar Awards Dinner at the Polo Lounge on May 1 wearing a vintage Chanel LBD from 1990. The long-sleeved mini dress featured satin ribbon accents on her wrists, the dress’s hemline, and her off-the-shoulder neckline. A matching ribbon was also tied around her neck in an asymmetrical halterneck, adding a bow accent with large flower at the front of her dress. Teased blonde hair and a smokey eyeshadow completed Klum’s pre-Oscars look.
