Blues face Kings in final game before NHL trade deadline

LOS ANGELES — The Blues will use the same lineup for the sixth straight game on Wednesday night against the Kings, the last game before Friday’s trade deadline at 2 p.m. CT.

The Blues enter Wednesday’s game three points back of Calgary for the second wild card spot in the Western Conference, and have played one more game than the Flames have. St. Louis is 4-1-1 since the 4 Nations break, and will face a Kings team that has lost four in a row.

On their three-game road trip, the Kings were outscored 15-4 by the Stars, Blues and Blackhawks.

Jordan Binnington will start in goal for the Blues, looking to win his fifth start in a row. Binnington was saddled with the loss on Sunday in Dallas after coming on in relief of Joel Hofer.

Projected Blues lineup at Los Angeles on Wednesday, 9:30 p.m.
